Private visits

Our team will visit you at home, your office, in nursing and residential homes. We charge an additional £25 call-out fee for this service which is a one-off charge added to the treatment cost and is available for a 7 miles distance from our Clinic in Warmley, 4 London Rd, Bristol, BS30 5JB

*When booking your private visit, please provide all the necessary details for us to easily identify your address. In addition, please have your phone within reach at the time of your appointment, in case we might need further instructions.

Consequently, failing to provide correct information or answering the phone at the time of your appointment might result in missing the appointment.

Ear Wax Building Up?

 

Nobody likes having ear wax build-up as it can be incredibly uncomfortable and can cause a range of hearing problems. With our microsuction ear wax removal service, you will get the wax safely cleared away quickly and easily. Moreover, we use the latest technology to provide a gentle and precise solution that is proven to be safe and effective.

Payment Terms and Cancellation Policy

Ear Prime Care appointments are pre-payable online. After you have been seen by us, if your appointment fee is more than the amount you have paid (e.g. if you require microsuction ear wax removal), this will be payable after your appointment is finished by debit or credit card.

What if ear wax is not present when I am seen?

If there is no ear wax or debris to remove from your ears following examination, it may be that microsuction is not necessary. Depending on your symptoms, this may result in a discussion around likely causes of hearing loss and potential further investigations that you may need.

Despite of microsuction not being performed during your appointment does not entitle you to any kind of refund of your appointment fees. Being seen by us takes up an appointment slot and our time. Given that, the fee charged for your appointment reflects your appointment time slot and the time we spend consulting you. Ear Prime Care cannot be held responsible for lack of requirement for microsuction in specific patients.

If ear wax is not present, there are multiple causes for hearing loss. If needed, we are able to discuss with you regarding other causes of hearing loss and may suggest further investigations or referrals.

Cancellation/Missed Appointment Policy

Any missed Ear Prime Care appointments are charged at the full appointment fee.

Consequently, when a patient cancels without giving enough notice or misses an appointment without informing us, they are preventing another patient from being seen.

Private visit appointments missed due to lack, incomplete or incorrect address details and failing to answer the phone are not refundable.

What if I need to change my appointment?

That’s fine of course. Due to our online booking method, you can use the buttons in your confirmation email to Reschedule your appointment within 36 hours prior to the appointment.

If you do not wish to reschedule, please contact us at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to notify us of any cancellations. Cancellations of appointments more than 78 hours from the time of the appointment are subjected to £4.20 administrative charge. This will be deducted from your partially refunded fee.

Consequently, cancellations of appointments less than 72 hours from the time of the appointment are subjected to a fee of 50% of the value of the missed appointment, including a £4.20 administrative charge to process the partial refund.

These terms cannot be altered due to reasons beyond the Ear Prime Care’s control. This includes: weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, transportation, illness, childcare, patients developing Covid-19 symptoms etc.

Changes of appointments from our behalf. In extreme case of equipment faults we will attempt in good faith to reschedule your appointment at the closest time possible. If you do not wish to proceed further with our services, we will refund the amount you’ve paid minus 4.20£ administrative charge, which will be deducted from your refunded fee.

Booking an appointment online with us implies acceptance of these terms.
